Lex Lang's music has been described
as having southwestern hometown charm, cool rockin' riffs, smoldering sexuality, and a

Lex Lang the artist/producer/poet is
gifted with a voice that stretches from a pleasing low purr to dynamic drive, and his
musical abilities give the listener open access to the complete spectrum of music. A
captivating songwriter, singer, guitarist and performer, Lex is proud to be making his
electrifying independent solo debut on Love Planet Records and the world wide web.
The 11-song self-titled recording,
is a well written collection of emotions and styles, groovin' and rockin' from the opening
tunes of "Casanova Kid", "Lolita" and "Home"
to the smooth and funky flow of songs like "Chocolate Sunday" and
"My Love" .
Weaving words with natural
precision, his songs always leave a lasting impression. You'll find yourself singing
them throughout the day.

Lex Lang was born in Hollywood,
California. A musician and singer from the age of seven, song writing has played a
major role in his evolution as an artist.
Early in his career, Lex's
influences were primarily The Beatles, Led Zeppelin , Peter Frampton, Billy Joel, light
rock and 70's top forty.
He wrote over thirty songs on the
piano before discovering his primary instrument, the guitar. Lex's influences grew
to include harder guitar driven rock, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Bad Company and an
assortment of other rock and roll groups.
Lex joined his first band
"KLM" at the age of sixteen. He played with them for a little over a year.
Lex then moved on to be the lead singer and guitarist for the band "French
Kiss", a touring band that played sexy blues driven rock. "French
Kiss" toured Ireland and Europe opening for popular rock groups during the summer of
1987.
In the summer of 1988 Lex was
awarded a scholarship to the Musicians Institute, so he moved back to Hollywood. During
that year he met Dave Odegaard (guitarist extraordinaire) and started the band, "Wild Horses" a rock and roll power trio.

Later that year, Lex met and
collaborated with actor/writer Bentley Mitchum. Lex and Bentley formed the
band, "The Velvet Box". Lang and Mitchum wrote a collection of songs
for the concept album, "Love is Love" a journey though the stages of a
relationship. TVB played clubs and venues in and around the Los Angeles area
including the Edge TV Beach concert series and the MTV Music Awards after-party.
Lex moved on to form his solo
project "LeXLang". His latest compositions consist of eleven new songs.
He is currently playing throughout
the L.A. area with the talented Scott "Scorch" MacDonald , Rod
Louden, Ronik Ital, Mike Celenza, Mary Elizabeth, Kelli Whitaker and Stefano
Valdo.
The new sound is powerful, melodic,
and has a soulful, sensual hometown groove.
