Lex Lang.
On
TV, his voice can be heard on Comedy Central's
"Prime Time Glick" as the Announcer,
and in the parodies
and bits as all the added voices.
His Voice Acting, Voice Replacement
and Promo Narration work includes HBO Boxing, A & E's
"Biography", movie trailers for "The Matrix", "Psycho",
"I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, John Carpenter's "Vampires" and
Narration for the National Geographic Channel's, "Outside the Cage" - Great
White Shark special.
You
may have also heard (but weren't aware you
were hearing) Lex doing Celebrity Voice Matching
and Replacement in the motion pictures "Dawn of the Dead" "The
General's Daughter" "George of the
Jungle", "Dark City", "The
Thirteenth Warrior", "Lost in Space",
"Little Nicky", "Bedazzled",
"End of Days" and Disney's "Cats
and Dogs" to name only a few .
Lex Lang was born in Hollywood,
California. At the age of five, this budding renaissance man and his family moved their
roots to Scottsdale, Arizona. Lex began his performance experience at the age of seven.
Besides "hamming it up" at the neighborhood talent shows, Lex's childhood
credits included being the host of his own radio show (nine years old), master of
ceremonies for Seagrams National Comedy Competition (eleven years old), and print
model for a national childrens clothing catalog (twelve years old).
Lex went on to act in Community
Theatre in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he performed in over forty productions, including
leading roles in "The Fantastiks", "Bus Stop", "The Apple
Tree", "Of Mice and Men" and Rogers and Hammersteins,
"Cinderella".
The following summer, Lex performed
with the Royal London Shakespeare Theatre Company in the Summer stock performance of
"Two Gentlemen Of Verona" under the direction of John Houseman.
In 1986, the John F. Kennedy Center
For Performing Arts awarded Lex their Excellence In Acting Award. Also that year, Lex
received the Outstanding Actor Award from The American College Theatre Festival for his
portrayal of Ray Caulder in the play, "Lone Star".
Lex moved on to perform stand-up
comedy and do impersonations across the country at famous venues such as The Comedy Store,
Dr. Giggles, The NFL Cub, Andersons Fifth Estate and The Improv, where he performed
with comedians Jim Carey, Richard Belzer, and David Spade.
In 1989 Lex moved back to Hollywood
to study music at The Musician's Institute and to continue his acting career. After
receiving his music degree, Lex was a featured actor in "Days of Our Lives" and
the films "Rich Girl", "Auntie Lees Meat Pies" and "Prize
Fighter". In 1996 Lex starred as a young Mafia leader in the film, "Blood
Justice" for HBO, and as a henchman for the South American Drug Lord in, "Dark
Tides" for Cinemax.
Lex currently works in film,
television, music and voice over in Hollywood. He also was recently signed to Love Planet
Records, and on July 7th released his debut music CD "LeXLang". A soulful and
seductive collection of original rock for the new millennium.
